Lush enchanted eye cream review

Time for another review!

Lush will always have a special place in my heart. When I see a product of theirs that I have yet to try, I get quite thrilled. However, I do not love them blind. I will always give you my honest opinion.

I have mentioned this product before in some of my videos, the enchanted eye cream. It's made of lavender honey water, organic cold pressed almond oil as well as jojoba oil. Hydrating and soothing it helps keep your skin moisturised and firm.

The formula is very light, and can be used both morning and night. I applied it before bed every night, and under my eye primer whenever I did my makeup.

The result was that the makeup stayed on better, and my skin was left in a better state after removing it. It also helps against dark circles under the eyes. I am cursed with both dark and intense circles under my eyes, as I have very thin skin. However, in different to many other eye creams, this did not leave me puffy or oily!

The package is nice with a pump (talked about the benefits of this in a previous review on the mac cream) and lasts forever. I have used it frequently and the only reason I stopped was that the deadline date got the better of me. So for the price, you get a lot. And of course, since it's from lush it's totally cruelty free!

Falling for the hype

I have finally brought home a real technique brush! The brush I went for is the expert face brush. Cross my heart, I actually need a new foundation brush and it was on sale so I think that justify it.

I have yet to try it but I have high hopes, partly because of the hype. Although I had my eyes on it before. The hair is much shorter than on most of the foundation brushes I have tried and working as a makeup artist, I have tried a fair few.

The fact that it's made from synthetic hair was crucial for me. That it's designed by Youtubers is a plus according to me, self explained YouTube addict! The sisters of Jim Chapman did great and I will give my honest opinion and write more about it once I've tried it, even though I'm probably the last person on earth to try it.

Avengers Age of Ultron

Hey Homies!

A few days ago I was at the premiere of Avenger: Age of Ultron! As a massive marvel fan I was very excited, even though I missed Tom Hiddleston. I have to agree with the critic that every single superhero movie seem to have the same storyline, but I don't complain. We love them right? So I don't mind.

We had awesome seats at a balcony and the movie (and marvel) geek in me enjoyed it very much thank you. Before I get into the movie, I NEED to express my love for Scarlett Johansson's hair. It's exactly the length I want when I'm done with longer hair and she looks gorgeous in red.

The movie itself was 2 hours and 20 minutes. Entertaining from beginning to end with a lot of eye candy for us female viewers. The 3D was very neat, and judging from the look of it I think it was digital 3D but I could be wrong. If you usually are having trouble with motion sickness, I can almost guarantee this won't affect you. The dimension is much smaller, and the dept not as severe which makes it easier for the eyes to adjust. Another good thing I must preach is only for the swedish audience. Every english speaking movie at the cinema is texted and on 3D movies that usually sucks, but this time they had changed it a lot and made possible to ignore almost completely!

I strongly recommend it, and I will probably talk more about it and the amazing crew in my next favorites video!

The Oscars

This post is up a little later than planned, but I really wanted to write this! The Oscars is one of my favorite days of the year, being the film geek I am.

Because of the time difference here in Sweden, the show is the night between sunday and monday until  06:30 am. Which means I didn't get any sleep for 41 hours straight haha, but it's so worth it!

I respect Neil Patrick Harris and he's truly brilliant, also in his role as host. The red carpet had a few interesting looks, but pretty standard to be honest. During the show I looked for a makeup look to recreate but nothing stood out, or was it just me? If you liked any of the looks, please let me know and  will make a tutorial!

One of the most well deserved winners, according to me, was Eddie Redmayne. Although I really like Benedict Cumberbatch, this year I thought Eddie was the right choice. The speaches were quite political this year, and the rumors of celeberties smoking weed and getting high were there as usual. Apparently one famous actress ordered her driver to buy weed and pick her up an hour early to smoke together. Hopefully those are just in fact, rumors.

Do you believe the winners were justified? Or had you other favorites?

Hospital

Hello dearies!

These last two months have been quite testing to say the least. I've been in and out from the hospital and fainting from everyday things. I can't believe how patience you've been, or how many lovely letters you've written, wishing me to get well soon. It's so heartwarming and it makes me feel very lucky indeed, despite all the current circumstances.

I wanted to quickly update you all and let you know that there will be coming more videos and blogpost soon.
